This Season in Plus Size Swimwear

While researching this piece I realized how annoying it is to search for plus size swimsuits when the selected garment is shown on a size 2 body. I know that’s not how it’ll look on me! Where are my/the fellow full figured women/models? Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that many styles are made for a wide range of sizes, I’d just like to then see photos of these different sizes.

A conclusion I had – while the selection of fuller sized clothing has expanded a great deal, the industry (especially in terms of swimwear), is still lacking. Too many sites I visited only offered dull, uninspired suits that may as well be expensive moo-moos. I would be lying if I said I’d never considered wearing those styles. Thankfully I came to the conclusion that I didn’t want to hide behind layers of fabric. I want to feel cute and stylish, not ashamed or embarrassed about my current swimsuit body. No matter if you’re bigger or smaller, I hope that you are able to embrace yourself as you are today, because Every Body is a Beach Body!
