The Costume Council + Chicago History Museum Celebrate Chicago Men’s Fashion

By: Alicia Nieto

It was a fantastic evening of men’s fashion at the Second Annual Chicago Men’s Fashion Awards, 2017. Presented by The Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum, the event was held at The Gentlemen’s Cooperative, a high-end men’s outfitter located in Chicago’s South Loop. The venue was a beautiful backdrop to for this affair, celebrating Chicago’s most fashion-savvy men. The best dressed were honored by The Costume Council, recognizing individuals for their fashion sense in relation to their individual professions. Categories included law, architecture and design, sports, advertising, etc. The event welcomed former host of E! Fashion Police, George Kotsiopoulos, as the night’s celebrity guest judge. Also joining the celebration was Helmut Jahn, Chicago’s premier architect, named one of the 10 most influential living American architects by The American Institute of Architects.
