Despite the wind and rain, Thursday’s Port Washington Main Street‘s ‘Ladies Night Out’ was a great success. The downtown streets were filled with bundled up ladies filled with an adventurous spirit! With retail locations up and down the main drag participating in the event, sidewalk traffic was much heavier than normal for this quiet town! All donning pink scarves and pink Port Washington Main Street tote bags (to collect their goodies) it was an easy crowd to identify!
Besides supporting the different businesses, the main draw to the event was a clever twist of the classic board game ‘Clue’. By visiting different locations, participants would discover one clue, and an additional second clue with any purchase made. A the end of the evening, your detective sheets were turned in with your ‘Who, What, Where, and When’ answers. Prizes included five $100 Main Street Gift Checks, and ten $50 Main Street Gift Checks. What great fun! I Live in a Magazine was happy to join the festivities and photograph the excitement and atmosphere. Be sure to follow Port Washington Main Street for future ‘Ladies Night Out’ events as well as I Live in a Magazine for future local events!
